Bella Wu
Founder
Meet Bella, a high school sophomore from California. She was inspired to create this organization because she realized that not a lot of teens, including her, understand how finance actually works and felt that it would be a great opportunity to educate both herself and others interested in the subject. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and baking :)
Alishba Humayun
Researcher
Meet Alishba, a 17 yr old student residing in Alberta, Canada. She wanted to join Financessity as a researcher because she believes all youth should be exposed to the world of finances and business. It is an important skill to have, and she would love to educate youth on the fundamentals. During her free time she enjoys reading, painting, and volunteering at various places in her community.
Jacquelyn Dao

Meet Jacquelyn Dao, a current high school student. She really loves gathering info on topics to educate everyone, and she joined Financessity to help everyone have a better understanding of finance! She really loves to bake and cook, and she is obsessed with watching international shows such as K-dramas and anime!
Shaakira Gadiwan

Meet Shaakira, an undergraduate student at the University of Calgary. She is excited to be a researcher for Financessity, which is a great opportunity for her to learn and educate others about basic finances. She hopes to pursue new and emerging topics such as cryptocurrency and how anyone, even minors, can invest and secure their finances for the future!

Meet Micheline from Indonesia. She likes reading, drawing, designing and learning new skills. The reason she joined Financessity is because of the organization's mission, which is to educate youth about financial education. She thinks financial education for youth is super important because it could help with financial struggles and poverty.

Meet Sevilla, a 12th grade student. In her spare time she likes to play her guitar or draw and she really likes watching anime + reading manhwa. The reason she joined this organization was because she’s currently finding out how finance works, and she would like to help others understand it too. Because like all of you know, school didn't really provide us with that kind of knowledge so it's up to us to find out about it ourselves.

Meet Amy and she chose Financessity because she believes that educating young people about financial literacy is vital for their success in the adult world. With the lack of education in public schools around this area, it is important to provide these resources in an easily accessible way.

Meet Soteria, a current junior at Monta Vista High School. In her spare time, she likes drawing, traveling, and listening to music. As an individual, she has always been interested in giving back to her community and helping those around her as much as possible; Financessity provides her with the opportunity to do that!

Meet Alexandra but most people just call her Alex! She‘s a freshman in high school and lives in Miami. This organization looked like an amazing way of learning some extremely important life skills so she’s so excited to get started!
Angela Santos
Meet Angela, a current sophomore in college and a jack of all trades. She is a firm believer in the power of holistic education that starts, especially, at a young age—and that includes finance! By being an ambassador for this organization, she hopes to become a means by which young people learn something that directly impacts their, and the world's, future.
Betty Lin
Meet Betty from Ontario, Canada. When she’s not doing school, she likes to sketch, read romance novels, and listen to podcasts. She is really into finance, as she is part of the finance and fundamentals club at her school.
Canice Hong
Meet Canice, a junior from BC, Canada. In her free time, she likes volunteering and listening to music. She joined Financessity because she realized how little knowledge she has about finance, so why not help educate others while educating herself!
Carla Dagandan
Meet Carla, currently a junior. She joined Financessity because she wanted to join a community that provides a safe space where minorities can learn about finance. As a Filipino woman, she wishes to see more representation of Asian American women and women in general in the finance field and business because it is hard to believe in yourself if you don't see people of your representation being able to make it to their own dreams.
Charlena Li
Meet Charlena, a high school senior from NYC, and she’s into sports, music and food! She is looking to major in Finance/Business and her favorite subject might be Economics. She joined Financessity to learn and help others learn more about finance, and hopefully encourage others to find an interest in the subject :)
Chatrine Lanot
Meet Chatrine, a Filipino student in Senior Highschool who is interested in inspiring and educating the youth about the essential knowledge they must have especially before transitioning to the world of work. In her past time, she likes to listen to music, watch movies/shows, and write about her plans for the future. She joined the organization because she would like to get to know more about finance and encourage people to be educated along with her as well.
Chloe You
Meet Chloe, currently a freshman in highschool. She really enjoys reading, listening to music, and watching Netflix in her free time. She joined Financessity because she wants many people to learn the importance of finance with her!
Emaan Rabani
Meet Emaan, a Grade 11 student in Ontario who enjoys being active within her community. She works as a Financessity Ambassador to fulfill her love for business by helping to educate others! She hopes to share her love for finance and deepen everyone’s understanding of the fundamentals.
Hasreet Grewal
Meet Hasreet and she’s 17 years old. She joined Financessity after expressing an interest early on in business and realizing the importance of finance. She’s passionate about helping others and learning new things! She enjoys hanging out with her friends and family as well as playing volleyball!
Hrdika Shetty
Meet Hrdika, a 16 year old aspiring businesswoman, She's also a passionate dancer. She joined Financessity to be able to use her voice to educate the youth on financial literacy. This is also an amazing opportunity for her to learn and grow!
Javiera Pizarro
Meet Javiera, from Chile. She’s currently a senior and she loves everything related to business and entrepreneurship. She joined Financessity because she’s truly interested in learning more about finance, and of course teaching other people about it.
Kashish Malik
Kashish is a 15 year old high school student from India. She has always felt the need to inculcate financial education in the school curriculum since it is very important for students to learn about money from the very beginning. Her motive to join Finanacessity was to learn and contribute to such a great initiative and help others learn in any way possible.
Laila Bolté
Meet Laila: equestrian, violinist, runner and avid reader. She loves helping the world in any way she can, which is why she participates in numerous youth organizations. She joined Financessity because it's a unique initiative that focuses on an important aspect of life people often overlook: finances! She thinks it's really important for kids to learn about it, and she’s glad she gets to help them do so through Financessity.
Marium Imran
Meet Marium! She loves reading and enjoys baking in her free time. She joined Financessity because she saw how a lot of people around her were unaware of how managing their finances could help them in their lives. She believes that Financessity can be the solution to that problem!
Maryam Khan
Meet Maryam, she believes that people are not fully aware about how beneficial finance is and how to manage personal finances. So, she decided to join Financessity to be a part of that change! Besides finance, she enjoys learning about AI and reading sci fi or murder mysteries.
Melissa Thambiaiah
Meet Melissa, currently a sophomore attending high school in Toronto, ON. As a student, mathematics and business are her favourite courses in school because she is incredibly passionate about these topics. Furthermore, her main hobbies consist of playing/watching sports, particularly basketball, and enhancing her knowledge on the stock market. The reasoning behind why she decided to join this organization is to intensify her understanding of finance, which will benefit her in her future endeavours.

Meet Princess, a grade 11 student in Ontario, Canada. During her spare time she likes to bake, spend time outside, and binge anime’s. She joined Financessity because she believes it is vital that we strive to educate the youths in our communities on finance and the significant role it will play in their future.

Meet Subo. She is a strong believer in the power of youth to make a change. Pursuing her last year of the IB Diploma Programme in Singapore, she is passionate about business, economics and, well, money. She hopes to raise awareness about the importance of financial management amongst the student community.

Meet Yiesha, a high school student who has the passion to keep on improving herself. By becoming a part of this organization, she hopes she can get the opportunity to spread a positive impact on herself and others. She hopes that by becoming part of Financessity, she can have a good influence on the world around the importance of personal finance and financial concepts to the world's youth as the nation's successors.

Meet Imogene, a Year 11 Hong Kong student from Victoria Shanghai Academy. Since she aims for finance to be her major in college, she hopes to gain more knowledge about finance through being an ambassador for Financessity. In the meantime, she hopes Financessity can grow in followers with her presence.
